There are a million different hardware PC configurations in the world, so to help us troubleshoot bugs or performance issues, we are asking you for your DxDiag and MSINFO32 files.

These files tell us very important information about not only your configuration but also what drivers you have installed for your video and sound cards that will help out resolve issues.

Step 1

On your keyboard, press the Windows Key and the R Key at the same time.

Step 2

Type in dxdiag and press OK.

Step 3

After the DirectX Diagnostic Tool window opens up and you see your System info displayed (this may take some time), click on Save All Information…

Step 4

Save the text file to your Desktop so it’s easier to find.

How to submit an MSINFO32 file

Step 1

Press the Windows Key and the R Key at the same time.

Step 2

In the Open box, type msinfo32 and click OK.

Step 3

When the System Information window pops up, click on File and then Save

Save the NFO file on your Desktop.
